A WRITER'S JOURNEY

My name is Todd LaSalle. I live in Maine with my wife, two kids, and our little dog Ricki. I have worked in television production for the past 45 years. My writing experience has focused on creating copy for marketing and promotional campaigns, scripts for documentaries and short news segments, but I have always had a desire to write fiction. When I was younger, the writing process felt too isolating, and later there was no time. Being a husband and dad kept me busy. Writing was one of those things to do someday, but not today. A few years ago, I finally decided to take the plunge, but even then my writing train chugged along in short spurts. After thousands of hours spent striving to improve my skills, writing has finally become part of me. Most mornings I am at my word processor at 4 a.m., clicking away with my mandatory Celsius on my desk. My hope is that this site will become a place where readers and fellow writers, particularly those starting out like me, will find encouragement. As I move closer to my goal of becoming published, I will share my writing journey, thoughts about living life, and the struggles and successes along the way. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy!
